Speaking of welding, how's your new leaf clamps coming along?

Current thinking is to just refresh the original springs and use the bags to dial in ride height/ride. With bags the springs are more for keeping the axle in location, and less for carrying the load.

 

Truck unloaded on top vs loaded with the camper and gear on the bottom. 1/2 tank of gas with dale and I inside for both weights.

 

You 2wd or 4wd?

The general consensus is every 100lb dropped gains .1 in the 1/4 mile.

Pretty sure you’ve added 55lbs in black and gold paint during the same period. Something else must be responsible

my 03 GX has the same transmission.

 

Could just a coincidence, but also gotta remember we went from winter blend to summer blend fuel too. Summer blend has less ethanol and always gives me a slight increase in MPG
