Although my 2014 has been paid for since 2018, my 2005 was paid for in 2009..

 

Yeah, I love this truck. My dad bought it brand new back in 02 and it's been between him and me a handful of times. I kept trying to get it back from him since he moved on to a 2.5 gen, and after letting it sit a year his wife finally convinced him to give it to me. That was back in 2018 and about $12k ago. I'll never sell it, but if the right 2nd gen comes along I may add it to the fold. Here's when me and my buddy brought it back from DFW.

I sent a slap to @OldGuy03 after Memorial Day and it didn't show up. He lives an hour and a half away. It's BS. I could have delivered it next time I was in Summit County.

 

Tundras.com was a nicer place before the 3rd gen. People were nicer to each other.

The crappy, expensive 3rd gen has caused a ton of in-fighting. Sucks to be a mod during the recall.

 

So for those of us learning, what exactly is the definition of a shitpost?

Curious because it seems like the 3rd gen guys get pretty upset if you just answer a question. If a question is posted and in gen “X” then anyone not owning a gen “X” answers then the poster gets pissed because they got an answer. Again trying to learn because a lot of folks do a lot of bashing but exactly how does one know when it is ok and when it is not?

Not being confrontational, just trying to CYA when I answer things so I do not get banned.

Well, nothing seems to piss them off more than asking why they're putting a fart can aftermarket exhaust on a V6..
At least that is what I've learned...

Since I've been on this forum we all kinda busted each other's balls a bit, that's what friends do.
But some of them take that very personally, so I generally stay out of their threads unless someone needs to know about wiring diagrams.
Then I'll post the the link to the @RainMan_PNW wiring diagrams thread that he was so kind to put together..
