This is crazy. I wanted to put in some new bulbs. I got some osram bulbs that are supposed to be pretty good. I can't believe I have to remove my grill and do all this work to change a freaking light bulb. I can't find any other way to do this. I plan to do my fog bulbs too which seems a bit easier but man this is just crazy.
Anyone have a solution for my 15 tundra? And should I wait til I get my fog bulbs and do them all at once?
    Thanks

    Osram night breaker unlimited H4

They make a night breaker laser, supposed to be better and brighter but these are much more time tested. I'll take a look and see what I paid for them but I think it was around $20.

Oh and @WarEagleSteve I just finished wiping everything I touched down with some quick detailed and microfiber cloth ;)

Thanks @Sean266 for letting me know it wasn't so bad. I really wasn't at all. Just more than previous bulb changes. It took under am hour with breaks to walk around to stretch my sore back amd numb leg...and taking pics... and beer. Maybe 30 minutes of work. YouTube made it easy. I was hoping for a quicker change over because my back is all screwed up but I can't just lay around and feel bad for myself.

    Osram night breaker unlimited H4

Maybe do some Google research on the osram night breaker laser, I ultimately decided to stick with the unlimited.

Sorry @Stumpjumper I just saw you asked about fogs. The fogs in pics are actually stock OEM H16. They look yellow now.
I ordered new fogs as well but they didn't show up. I ordered osram fog breaker H16.
They are supposed to be bigger than OEM and yellow / Amber in color. I actually ended up getting them Wal Mart . Com and they had free shipping , i think around $35, Amazon did not have the fog breaker fog light bulbs.

I'm sure you can get the night breaker unlimited or laser in H16 if you want matching colors to these headlights. I just like yellow fogs

I will post my own pics when I get them here and installed

Yeah. I waited til I had the coin too (patience is a virtue). Leo discounts them to like $135-ish shipped from time to time. Other than my KO2's it's my best/favorite mod on my truck.

$135 with bracket to fit? I'd jump all over that.

Fog light bulbs came today. My back and leg was killing me but my brother stopped by so I asked him to do the dirry work as i suoervised. Those are a pain in the ass to replace too haha. But it got done. I'm considering upgrading to H11 bulbs but waiting to hear more about heat and housing melting and wire and fuse issues (19w vs 55w). I hear several very different stories of using H11s in these H16 housings from great to really baf. For now it's H16 osram fog breaker 2600k. They seem brighter than OEM for sure but we'll see when I start driving, 19 watt bulbs won't be great in any halogen reflector no matter what.

Pudge those look great. Going to order a set and pop those bad boys in. You wouldn't happen to know the bulb size/wattage for the front turn signal. I'm going to replace the amber with white. I'm about 3000 miles from my owners manual. Thanks.

Okay. I went with the blue thunder brand 7500k bright white bulbs. Also a Sylvania super white 4157 for the drl and turn. You can have a white turn signal upfront in NC. I'll post some pics after I get them installed in a couple weeks. I used the blue thunder in my 5 series for fogs and the 7500k halogen matched the led headlights perfectly. They lasted 2 years. I'm sure I'll be getting different headlights way before that. This is just a quick inexpensive upgrade. Screenshot_2017-09-24-08-02-07.jpg

The owners manual says all u need to do is remove the two bolts on the inner fender well then reach up from behind and undo the clip and remove the bulb. I had a hard time believing that the only way to change bulbs was to remove the grille as well so I looked in the owners manual and that's the way it says to do it. Seems way easier to me hope this helps

I'd honestly rather rebuild the engine than mess with the fender/wheel well liner.

Looks good. But don’t upgrade to H11’s. I popped in some PIAA Jon yellow H11’s in my stock fog housing and it started melting the reflector inside. And that’s with only 4-5 months of use!!! Stick to H16’s or totally just change your fogs. My Morimoto XB’s will be for sale soon btw =)
