Cannot Add New Trailer 2024 TRD Pro

I cannot add a new trailer as the options wont save and the trailer wont save. When I try to change the hitch type or any other options, that wont save either.In the screen where you select the axels, etc, it shows an error and unknown. Anyone else have this issue?

 

Do you have the trailer plugged into the truck. I had trouble the first time I set it up because I didn’t have a good connection at the plug.

 

I know I was connected when I made my additions. Not sure if that matters but does make some sense.

My brother and I both have 24 TRD pro's and everything works on his. You do not need a trailer hooked up to set it up in the dash.

 

May have to see dealer of start checking fuses.

Did this get resolved? I’m having the same issue, regardless of a trailer connected or not.

 

@swageit Not to change the subject but where the heck do you live at that it is 109°F!?!? lol sorry. I am not sure why that was literally the first thing I saw when I looked at the picture you posted.

 

Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I had the same thing happen on my 2024 TRD Off Road the other day. The brake controller and lights worked fine on the 5k camper trailer I was towing, however it would not let me customize the trailer. I received the exact error as above. When I tried to change the settings it just defaulted back to unknown. I followed the directions in Toyota's you tube video posted above with no success.
