Stuff it, and keep it moving. Most of you fucking day walkers are asleep anyways and Big Daddy is here to play

Ya no kidding brother! How have you been? The goat is in rougher shape than before for sure ha. Here’s the last shot I took while logging in the back yard. The box is rotting off, I need to flat deck it for hay bales soon!

Also me and my buddies are super judgy when we hike/backpack. And we usually refer to everyone as a day hiker……. It’s evolved into everything being a day——- whatever, but the term day hiker is well deserved and well proven every trip

No offense to @day-dad` killin it with his kids

Same here, keeping busy with the fam and hustle and bustle of life. A lot less Tundra time than I used to get, that’s for sure. I actually don’t even have insurance on it anymore :/ My work gave me personal use on the work truck, so that’s the daily now. I look back at how hard I used to go on the project trucks and I can’t really believe it ha. Now that the kids are a bit older, I just spent more time with them instead I guess.

I still keep insurance on the old girl, but I hang out with the family too a lot nowadays. Enjoying the mortgage together <3

I look back also and am just amazed at how hard I pushed the truck, and myself, then days are gone for a little while, but they'll be back, and I'll be like "Damn, this shit used to be easy "

I remember being so fired up about learning to use the push mower for the first time as a kid. It probably wasn't until halfway through the summer that I realized my pops had straight up Tom Sawyer'd my dumb ass, haha.
But learning to use my uncle's riding mower and later his tractors to mow the farm was actually fun as a kid.

I don't have to try. It's a scientific fact. It's also a theological fact. Both science and religion agree on this. Can't argue with that.

I'll admit I haven't done the 'pull onto the lawn, hand wash and wax' a truck since college. I grew up with that being a thing, did it for a while on my first couple trucks, then completely stopped. Not sure I know anyone personally who still does it.

But I'm considering starting. I think I'll need to follow shifty`s methods in the 'so you bought a first gen' thread first to get rid of the chalk that's apparently common on white Tundras, then take care of a couple dozen little rusted rock chips, then shoot for a once-a-year full wash & wax, in addition to the pay car wash as needed.

    Looks great!
