Without getting into all the recall issues, what kind of offers/prices are you seeing for new 24s this month (Model & options)? I've seen YouTube discussions that new ones are $10k - $12k off (but no dealers named - perhaps BS)? Not seeing that in the Tampa Bay area or Atlanta market. I looked at a new 4WD Platinum in April but could not put a deal together. Pricing still is about the same as then. $4k (SR5) to $6k (LTD) off depending on model.

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
Watching this closely, the low interest rates are much better than when I had to buy my current tundra.

I’m in tampa and I flew to MO to buy mine 1-2 weeks before the recall. Got $8500 off the build price from Toyota website (no dealer add ons).

check out the what did you pay for your tundra thread.

They offered me $2,750 off MSRP for mine. It's a lunar rock though and they only had two on allocation.

I was happy with the 9k I got off my 2024 1794 LE and the Toyota 3.99 financing. None of my local dealers here could match the price or even tried to match the price here in Richmond Va. Yeah I had to drive over 600 miles to trade in my old Tundra and get my new one to Indiana but I just did a nationwide search to find the truck I wanted in the color I wanted. The trip was fun and I broke into easy to drive segments, even tried to get my wife or son to go with me but scheduling never worked out.

I've seen TundraDude34 do some dealer walk arounds on YouTube where a person could get fantastic deals on all Tundra trims, colors, and add on packages.

I've also seen on YouTube where all of the big 3 have trucks piling up on lots so deals are going to get better and better as we creep towards the 2025 trucks coming out.

One of the reasons I didn't buy the 3rd gen besides the ugly design was the price point. I don't believe this truck is worth $75K+ and trust me, I have the money so that is not an issue. I bough my 2013 in cash and I did the same thing for my 2021. The price increase from gen 2.5 to gen 3 is actually pretty greedy if you ask me and I guess that's a trend across multiple car brands? For instance I got a new 2023 Honda Pilot Trailsport and the increase from previous gen to the current was around $6K, give or take which I thought it was fair. Can't say the same about the new Tundra. But that's just me and my personal opinion and I am sure others may look at this differently, which I very much respect.

i bought my 22 in cash or basically paid it off on 2nd or 3rd month, totally regret this now, sinking 55k+ into depreciating asset and now have a major recall overhead looming over it

next ride, I will probably finance the entire term or even lease now if the finance rate is lower that what 55k makes in the market monthly

Remember, if you lease it, you can't make any modifications and have to stay under the annual mileage allowance. Those two things were major points against leasing mine (yeah, there are years when I drive A LOT).

Other than that, leasing is a fairly good option for testing the vehicle. If you like it, you can keep it; if you don't, just let the dealer have it. But that said, I've heard horror stories about dealers getting picky and charging for everything (even typical wear and tear) at the end of the lease.

7k off and low interest rate is tempting. Also considering getting a used one.. Was looking at a Tacoma but for the same price, might as well get a Tundra.
