Bringing Up Baby (1938). Tubi. A silly comedy with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, who’s character I found very annoying.

Funny, any character she plays I find annoying.

    Watching Narcos:Mexico
Wish we could find something not so serious and lighthearted.

Been watching the Acolyte. I'm a life long Star Wars fan, so I'm not giving up hope for this new era of movies & shows, but man it has gone in a different direction from the original two trilogies

Gone With the Wind (1939). Max. A well scripted film making the four hours flow by quietly.

A Trip to the Moon (1902). Max. Considered the first sci fi film and first film with a screenplay. It is a 13-min French film. It appears funny and whimsical but had advance special effects for its time.

Woman in the Moon (1929). Classic Film Time. An early sci fi film that was on the right track of space travel when many films after it were not. Such as using liquid fuel for propulsion; weightlessness in space; use of multi-stage rockets; and high G-forces experienced during take-off. Of course, it got a few things wrong. The first half of the film is overly long. All the good stuff happens in the second half. And it has a love story. Good watch overall.

Frankenstein (1910). Dailymotion. First film version of Frankenstein. 13 min short film made at the dawn of film making.

Frankenstein (1931). Youtube. Feature length and the monster appearance that would become the standard.

Bride of Frankenstein (1935). Internet Archive. A good and popular sequel.

Two of the best movies ever.
Manhunt and Franklin were pretty good. The manhunt story takes place in my neighborhood, so sort of interesting.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1916). ArchiveTV. Third film version. First feature length and first to use underwater filming.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954). Disney. A good Disney family oriented production but the ending differs greatly from the novel.

The Freshman (1925). Max. A funny silent film.

Gen V S1 Ep 1-3. Prime. Halfway into the first episode, I was ready to abandoned this series, but I stuck to the end and the cliffhanger grabbed me and wouldn't let go.

Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927). Saw on Hoopla but the film is now public domain and widely available. Considered the best of the silent films. It won three of twelve Academy Awards presented in the 1st Academy Awards ceremony. The film is a tender romantic drama. I enjoyed it.

Crowd (1928). Tubi. I really liked this silent film. Better than Sunrise, imo, which got the Oscar.

Lights of New York (1928). Tubi. The first full feature film with synchronized sound dialogue from start to finish. The film itself was, meh.

Sherlock Jr (1924). Tubi. I didn't find it as funny as others, but there are some impressive filming techniques.

All Quiet on the Western Front (1930). Tubi. First film about war to win an Oscar, in the 3rd Academy Awards ceremony. Sometimes considered an anti war film, but I didn't see it that way - our hero is trying to tell about war for what it is, death and destructive.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931). On Internet Archive website. Good performance by lead actor who got an Oscar for his performance.

Gen V (2023), completed S1. Prime. Graphic violence with good young actors. Wonder how they will handle the Andre character due to the actor, Chance Perdomo, passing away in a motorcycle accident in March.

I used to use software to view movies years ago... miss that now that I am on a fixed budget. I have not had cable ever since I have been in Arizona and I moved out here in December of 2000

@azTony If you have internet access, you need at least 5 Mpbs and a Roku or Amazon stick to stream movies on a TV. There are numerous apps/channels with free content. There are even apps with live TV content. You don't need a wifi router if your phone plan has hot-spotting.

The Island of Lost Souls (1932). On Internet Archive website. I’m pretty sure I saw this when I was a kid and it spooked me. Kinda tame nowadays but a good watch.

The Invisible Man (1933). YouTube. The IM as a villain as HG Wells intended.

Love Me Tonight (1932). YouTube. Not big on musicals and this one was ok.

It Happened One Night (1933). YouTube. I really enjoyed this romantic quasi-comedy. First film to win all top five Oscar categories.

Duck Soup (1933). Prime. The Marx brothers doing more shenanigans. Groucho continues to annoy; Harpo is the funny one.

Taxi Driver (1976). Fawesome. Can’t believe I put off watching this film so long. Very good watch.

Counsellor at Law (1933). OK website. Despite filmed mostly at a law office in the day affairs of the lead attorney, the movie moved well. The phone operator nearly stole the movie.

Tour de France coverage of Stage 3 on NBC Sports, Chris Horner/YouTube & Wedu/YouTube. The longest stage, 143 miles, but a boring relatively flat stage.

The Thin Man (1934). OK website. I really enjoyed this film. A well written who-dunit romantic comedy. It spawned five or six sequels.

Tour de France coverage of Stage 4 on NBC Sports, Chris Horner/YouTube & Wedu/YouTube. The first mountainous stage. Pogacar stepped on the pedal on the last climb and pulled ahead of the field. He is 35 seconds ahead of second place.
