My Tundra only hauls my kayak and some occasional home improvement stuff and the wife's FB market purchases. Nothing my 2016 Tacoma couldn't handle. In fact, the Tacoma had more payload and a longer bed.

The only reason it takes up garage space at this point is to tow the camper. I bought a car for a DD because the Tundra's such a pain to drive around town.

I sometimes drive it just to blow the cobwebs out.

Just brought home 14 foot Steel Roof Panels for a garage.
The place that makes them charges a one time fee of $400 for delivery, whether you get 6 or 60 panels.
I have been doing this type of hauling a few times a year for the last 6 years.
What other vehicle is capable of this?
I strapped the panels down on top of the tonneau cover using 4 tie down anchors that I installed in the sides of the bed.
My 4Runner also has a power rear window and can also feed materials through..but not this long.

Found out a 1987 WheelHorse 312A garden tractor just fits in the 5.5' bed. I keep this at my Mother's place and my wife uses it while I use my late Father's real Cub Cadet to mow grass. It was due for maintenance so I brought it home. Since there's a small hill both there and here to load a 4x4 sheet of 3/4" plywood with a set of ramp ends works perfectly for loading. Front tires against the front and rears against the tailgate.PXL_20240523_141729470.jpg

gonna pick up 65 12"x12" pavers off craigslist, lowes says they weigh about 17lbs each, so i figure 65*20 to be safe = $1300. 2013 4x4 double cab. should be fine right? fully stock

    1300lbs*

You'll be fine. Slightly over payload most likely but assuming you're not going far and it's just you in the truck, you'd be fine. Just drive as if you have 1300lbs of shiftable weight in the bed.

Picked up this trailer a month or two ago for hauling my motorcycles and other crap. It'll make for a nice little hauler for camping out off too. 7x12, 7000lb capacity, torsion axles. Installed new tires, cleaning it up and its good to go. Weighed it yesterday, confirmed it weighs around 2400lbs empty, 240lbs tongue weight.

2016 SR5 4x4. Full Dobinsons twin tube suspension w/ front coils and their regular load rear leaf springs, Boss 4x4 1" shackle (identical to the Toytec one), and rear Timbren bump stops. 35" Maxxis Razr MT tires on 18x9 FN BFD wheels.

Trailer is a 1996 equipment trailer. 10K GVWR, 18' long. Title says 2300lbs, but that was before it was modified for drop axles, frame reinforced, and had diamond plate centers were added.

Last summer I brought a 1987 Grand National back from Maine for a friend. Drove it all the way to PA, from his uncles barn, just over 8 hours each way. It was parked for 19 years. Moved around inside the 100 yard long old chicken barn over the years, but hadn't been on the road since 2004. I had one trailer tire blow out in NY state but luckily the car was undamaged. The trailer fender just took one hell of a hit! I bought 4 new tires the next week, and kept the two newest tires as spares.

    GN.jpg

Then just last weekend brought home a new daily driver to me. It's kind of a f*ckboy car, but I have a soft spot of wagons/hatchbacks, and I've wanted a WRX since I got my license in 2003. 2014 WRX with 58k miles. It has some mild mild modifications done, and needs some general maintenance, but overall is a clean and straight car. Bought it cash and towed it back to PA from Connecticut.

    WRX.jpg

I absolutely love towing with this truck. The tires were a terrible choice for towing, but they still do fine, just a tad loud. My brother gives me shit every time; "Get a real truck with a diesel", like his Duramax, but this thing has proven to me it can do everything I need it do, and I trust it far more than a new diesel.

Haha okay, ask and you shall receive.

I've been slowing working on it with my friend since last summer. It needed absolutely everything you can think of related to fuel, ignition. Plus brakes, exhaust, and more. It still needs a lot of work, but it has made it out to a car show just the other week. It has just over 70k miles on it too.

    None really.
IMG_3051Truck.jpg Just a Polaris SXS, few rifles and occasionally some fresh venison, or a dead hog/coyote or two.

When I see a truck with a 'sport' package this is exactly what I envision it doing.

Finally got the camper in for the first time. First night out elk hunting, it was great.

Not sure what Sumo Springs look like when they're completely maxed out, but these don't look like they're there yet.
