Finally was able to get all the wheels on. Very happy with how it looks being on stock suspension. Totally changed the look of the truck

 

Little to no difference from factory. I like it. Most nerve racking part of install is when you have to cut the strut bolts. It leveled mine almost exactly. I measured it multiple times afterwards while parked on flat ground.

 

This looks great!

 

6” lift, 37/12.50s on 20” Method wheels. Traded my Taco in for it…hard to let go of, but needed the extra space. All in all, glad I traded.

 

what is your lift and offset. Looks beautiful

Westcott Designs TRD PRO Preload Collar Lift Kit
Had to remove front mud guards.
Very slight rub at full lock.

 

Serious question here: why get a sport and then lift it? Not trying to be a dick, just curious.

 

First was price. Got a hell of a deal on it. Second is no chrome to delete. Westcott makes a kit for the sport. Said 4 weeks lead time but now hearing 12+ weeks. It’s week 4 now. If nothing happens soon canceling and going a different route.

What's your offset?

 

Has anybody powder coated the factory wheels? I have a 3rd gen 1794 and i like the factory wheel but i think i would like them in bronze better.

Question for those with aftermarket wheels, are you moving the TPMS from the factory wheels or going with aftermarket TPMS?

 

I went with aftermarket in case I want to swap wheels for the winter.

 

If those are 4Runner take-offs, yes they'll technically fit, but they have a drastically different offset. Balancing may also be an issue as they're 17s and weights may be difficult to place.

 

I went with a set of OEM tpms for my summer wheels.

 

There is also something about their weight limits or tolerances that came into play. These were looked at as an option and determined to not work properly for the tundra even though the lug pattern was the same.

 

I just got a tundra 4x4 SR5 like a week ago, and I am planing on changing the wheels and tires without doing any lift or leveling. I found a wheel set that I like, but I don’t know it it will fit my truck; the size is 18x9.5 +40 offset 6/139.7. If anyone can help

They should fit. Stock offset is at 58 iirc and stock tire on an SR5 is 18x7.5. You will be moving the wheel face out approx 3/4” due to the offset and then the tire will have an additional 1” on each side compared to stock. Should give a cleaner look imo. I went with a 20 offset and a 10” wide tire on my tundra, and have approx 1.5 of poke past flare.
