I’m in the woods a lot huntin and fishin…and driving early in the AM to go huntin and fishin…& have hit deer before….so I am considering on installing a front grill guard to protect my beloved Sugaree from a deer collision. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Brands? New or used? I don’t want it to look too overkill…just something strong and effective against deer collisions.

Most are for looks and do little to nothing to help in a deer strike.

That being said, Ranch Hand used to make really stout bumpers and brush guards.

Anyone familiar with Westin grill guards? I saw a beefy one on a Georgia State Troopers SUV while we were down in Savannah for St Paddy’s Day….it looked Built to Last!!

Ranchhand Summit series bullnose bumper here. Super good look and protection. Photos don't look great for some reason, so don't let that bother you.

Have you considered adding something to actually protect the radiator? Looks wide open, maybe for the radar sensor? I like the headlight hoops, but can't bring myself to like the radiator exposure.

The Ranch Hand definitely has that area covered. I'd be open to having a mesh type enclosure welded in.

2014 didn't have adaptive cruise so no issues using cruise here.

The Parking Assist sensors were never re-installed by the PO. The sockets are there so I'm sure they could be installed if I wanted to source new ones. I actually ended up just removing the PA switch and putting my Redarc it its place.

    OE fog lights down below...

Any bumper with a Bull Bar will provide protection…
I’ve got a CBI Baja Hybrid, and it was an easy install (bolt on, no cutting)
    IMG_2205.jpg
They make others as well, their Adventure bumper provides more coverage

With these style bumpers, CBI or others, you lose the wheel wheel liners?
