    Sounds familiar… was turned away by my mother at birth and went home with my grandparents and lived with them until I was about 5-6. Then my mother decided she wanted me but my grandmother wanted nothing to do with it. She took me out of state, hid for a while then they caught us and I went into a foster home for a years. One home to another fighting everyday (St. Louis) on the playground as a new kid.

    I believe character was built by the events in my life but one thing is for sure, I never trust anyone without them earning it.

    My grandmother was in a physical and mental position I have never seen her when I got the call to get to the hospital in the next state. After I seen her I prayed in the chapel before I left for them to take her, she was ready and tired of the abuse (long story). Your grandmother is very lucky to have you has hers. :hattip:
