Have a 2017 tundra that I have maintained myself with 80,000 miles. Any suggestions as what I should have Toyota work on at this time? Something they actually put a wrench on not the visual inspection and charge me $150. Thank you in advance for any information you have.

Is it running well and not throwing any codes. Change oil and filter every 5K with 5W30 full synthetic. If you havent changed antifreeze, ATF, TC and diff oils do it now. Also new brake fluid and air/cabin filters and you should be GTG. This engine should run 1M miles with normal maintenance. Don’t let the dealer rip you off.

Thank you very much. Thought maybe a valve job or belt replacement would be helpful? As for your suggestions I can/will take care of those. Thank you again.

Valve job @ 80K?!? Oh hell no!! And you can inspect the belt yourself, too, and replace if necessary. Easy peasy.

    And welcome aboard!

Change your pcv valve. Easy and important every 30k or so
