Hello everyone, so I’m starting to put some parts together in prep for my
    Father son project

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/father-son-project-cheap-black-wheels.143380/

Used the search button, listened in YouTube ect ect…..my son and I have decided on the Spintech 6000 pro street, it’s cheap, and sounds good so fits the build it cheap plan.

    1. Can someone who has the muffler confirm it won’t steal any torque? We are only gonna install muffler, not delete anything other than stock muffler obviously……unless there is a reason to delete another piece of the stock set up?

    2. Can someone confirm the 2.5 inlet and outlet center placement is what we need to order.

Any other advice is happily welcomed!

    Thanks again everyone!

No loss of torque. Mean sounding. Did you listen to the video I posted? I can't speak to different sizes.

I think if you stay 3" or below. You'll be fine

No. I went with the same size as another member. Didn't put any thought into it.

I asked customer support at Spintech and he recommended 2.25" but I don't think it matters TBH.

I had their big 8000 series on my truck for a few months. I went with a single 3” in/out and welded in a y pipe to merge the 2.25” pipes in to one. Sound was nice but very mellow and unobtrusive, low end power was improved over the outgoing Flowmaster and honestly felt more peppy than how I remember the OE muffler behaving. I installed a supercharger and decided to go to a straight though muffler instead but would have stayed with the Flowmaster on a NA setup. I actually still have the muffler; be happy to make someone a great deal on a 3 month old muffler.
