    None 300 miles new
Owners review of the 2024 Tundra hybrid, it is not bad but certainly nothing to write home about.just to set the stage, I am a 73 year old man have had 75 pick up trucks, mostly used, but to date 6 Toyotas 2, tundra 1794, 1, 2014, and 1 2024, 4 Tacomas 1 new limited, 3 used ones, recently traded a 21, gmc at4 in on the new 1794, it is a good looking truck and comfortable, but when towing a 16’ inflatable boat back from Miami, I got 13.8 mpg, running 75mph on 95, but the gmc at4 would have pulled that light load back even without wheels on the trailer and gotten much better mileage, also at 80 mph, the hood actually flexes, looking like a cheap, not well made truck, the truck has 450 miles on it now, going to give it a chance, but I suspect in less than a year, I will go back to a king ranch or at4, or high country, in my opinion the tundra is still not up to the big 3 players, and I suspect this hybrid, will very possibly loose Toyotas reliability, advantage, to some of the other players, just my opinion.

Assuming you started driving when you were 16, that's a new truck every 8.9 months...

Sounds like you are not the least bit concerned about reliability anyway. What do you do, change trucks instead the scheduled oil and filter changes?

Okay, there are obviously defects with the 3rd gen. But every single time I click on a complaint thread, the poster has 1-5 messages, this f'ing guy says 0 messages. Is Ford really hurting that bad that they need to have AI bots come troll us here? GMC's new strategy instead of hybrids? Someone is obviously doing this for a reason, I just can't understand what that reason is.

    Deep-seated commitment issues
A huge % of people join the forum so they can post stuff for sale (basically their take-offs after bolting aftermarket stuff to their truck). They want to hurry up and make up some of the money they just dropped on a new lift and tires.

The forum has a strictly enforced policy regarding posting parts for sale; you must contribute to the forum, 50 posts, before you’re allowed to list anything. Posting a thread in the new member introduction section does not count toward your post count. That’s why old man James’s post count is 0. Lots of people try to circumvent this policy by quickly replying “cool truck” to 50 different threads. The mods catch it every time and will put you on time out.

Old man James here is every automaker’s best friend. He changes trucks like normal people change socks. He wants an excuse to flip his truck and feels that he has found it. Best of luck to old man James.

We jump on bots asap and have some levity for a bit until the thread goes in the trash bin.
