Bilstein looking for 2022+ Tundras for development in So Cal

Hi Everyone,

I'm with Bilstein Shock Absorbers in San Diego, CA. We're currently looking for several new Tundras and Sequoias to confirm product fitment. We would require the vehicle for 2-3 weeks. We can provide you with a rental if needed. You must live in the SoCal region or be able to deliver to San Diego. In exchange we will install upgraded shocks on your vehicle, or you can receive a $500 visa gift card. More details available at the link below:

Actually, I missed one on that list. We do need one Tundra with the air ride system and yours would work well. Please submit it through the site and I'll be in touch, once the submission is received. It's lower priority than the other application but we'd still like to bring it in soon.

I don't know where the message went that I just received about this post being illegitimate. It's very legit. Yes, Bilstein makes products directly for Toyota. They are built to toyota's desired specs and tuned according to Toyota's wants. We are Bilstein's Aftermarket Division in San Diego, CA. At this phase, we have developed our full product line and are looking for these variants in order to confirm tune and lift heights for each.

Happy to drop my truck off if you need to do some more follow-up testing on 8112/8100s for a ‘14-‘21 tundra

 

@x77camaro That message was me and I saw you only had 2 posts and jumped to a conclusion and then noticed you just listed the Bilstein website and I realized I just jumped to a conclusion and made a mistake

 

Dito, I appreciate the offer. We have completed development for 07-21 but occasionally we bring vehicles back. You're welcome to submit your vehicle and I'll be in touch if it lines up with our needs.

 

soo @x77camaro I'm sure you can't share but won't know unless we ask..... any insight to what products will be offered i.e. 6112, 5160, 8100's, etc. Literally been waiting for Bilstein because I had 6112's on my last truck which was a Silverado and have been wanting the same or better on my ticking time bomb gen 3 tundra.

 

Uh oh Ryan, now everybody knows who to get a hold of with Bilstein product questions... Hope you are ready to have your inbox inundated with perilously pesky preponderances and irritatingly irksome inquiries. Speaking of which, I've got some.. oh. wait. Nevermind. I'll try to keep from driving you from the forum like a rented mule.

 

I can't say much other than 6112s are coming out soon. Hence, the push for all these fitments. 8112s are in development with no ETA.

@x77camaro Not sure if I'm too late to the party, but I just submitted mine. I have a completely stock 2022 Tundra TRD Off-Road. I'm located here in San Diego, about 15-20 minutes away from Poway. Would be happy to drop mine off for a few weeks.
