Definitely not many factory (showroom) parts on factory bikes All about saving weight for sure. Hopefully we’ll see some good racing tomorrow but the track map looks kinda boring to me except for the fact there’s 12 whoops instead of 9

I had a hard time making the fantasy picks for this race in Philly. The track layout is pretty badass but it's still a little too one fast line type of track.

I don't know if it's the fact that it's a day race or camera angles but the track looks very small and tight. I know it's not it's just my 60-year-old eyes playing tricks on me

Well I'm at 144 now, really going to have to be lucky now. Jason did great but screwed me over in the long run.Screenshot_20240427_171709_Chrome.jpg

The Great Outdoors has started. I'm surprised to see Deegan have so much speed ! Sexton going one-one at Hangtown was a pleasant surprise, the second moto was crazy ( 40th to 1st ) for him. Jets crash in the first moto looked painful !

Hangtown was great. The changes they made to the track this year made the race much more fun to watch. Deegans crash was crazy. He turned into a helicopter and the second he hit the ground he was back up running back to his bike. Glad I was able to go this year Friday and Saturday. Always a fun time.

I thought about going down, just too much going on. I think it was 1990 when Guy Cooper went last to first in the 125s, that was an awesome thing to see in person ! The track ran backwards of how it runs now and it was like concrete !

I work in the "industry" so I get pretty good passes every year. Plus, I currently live right across the freeway from Prairie City, where the Hangtown race is held.
I remember the track from the 90's because that's when I used to ride it. I'll have to see if I have any pictures.

That place is definitely changed over the years and not just the track. We worked on the capital center complex back in '86 and '87, it was a madhouse back then and it has just exploded over the years.
