I am attempting to change the water pump and timing belt currently. I’ve been following the TRQ video to a T and when I got to the first AC compressor bolt it started to round itself. I don’t want to necessarily extract it, screw the head up and then be out one bolt. None of the shops where I live will be open tomorrow so I’ll have to get one Monday. Anyone happen to know the dimensions of the bolt?

Not off hand, can you use a grip socket or an RBT socket to remove it?

@Tundra2 tried but that space is a little tight and I can’t really hit the grip socket on there

Is the radiator out of the truck? You can remove that for more clearance

Do you have any impact guns? Sometimes you can beat a standard socket onto a metric bolt to get it our
