23 TRD Sport w/8k miles. Notice at low speeds braking, it like will like longer or hop before coming to complete stop. Doesn’t happen every time, seems like mostly notice with low speed in town type driving.

    Anyone else experience this?

Make sure it's not the auto start stop kicking in.
Hard press on brake pedal activates it/soft press will not. Look for a message on the left of the dash.
Not sure if this has been brought up before as the search function isn't doing so good.

My past f150 used to do it really bad coming down a hill low speed and it would go hard on acceleration while I was on brakes slightly then I have to really press on the pedal but this only happen a couple of times.

    Thanks, I don’t think it’s auto start/stop, as I typically turn that off….

best described as it feels like going over a bump or something when braking to a stop and rpm’s are 1k and less.

It’s weird. I do have AFE intakes and Dirty Deeds exhaust, but I can’t see either contributing to this…

Do you have the latest recall for the parking brake or trans letting it roll forward , or was that done recently ?

I bought the truck a month ago, dealer said any/all recalls were completed…. I don’t have records of what though. Lookup by VIN doesn’t show any open recalls for it…

8k miles…. I have only really started noticing it. But, it’s like situational based on driving like it’s not every time.

It take the trans forever to warm up, so that could be it

otherwise have you taken off your neg battery cable at all recently ? If so, could be the trans rel learning

Aha, well yes indeed I did disconnect negative battery terminal when I installed the intakes and exhaust, which was about 1-2 weeks ago, and that’s about when I started noticing it

ok, what you have is the logic got wiped , drive about 500 miles or so and it will re learn and be smooth as silk

You can also speed that up with a couple red line runs where safe , I’m not saying break the speed limit

    boost on:burnrubber:
