No my dad's wore a few out over the years. I forget what brand it is he buys but they're like 200 a pop. As long as you have good quality bags you should be able to stay off freezer burn for a long while.

I've heard horror stories of guys getting jammed up for gun crimes in NY.

Im happy to not follow unjust laws, but I dunno?

Shame too. I'd really like to go climb in the Gunks.

Didn't search those acronyms but I'm guessing license to carry/concealed handgum license? Interesting map....

I’m either way for the whichever snorkel design. I like the aesthetics of both. The only thing i don’t like about this style is the durability. That RV black water intake tube doesn’t play well with fluid dynamics air flow. Also without inner fender protection, i foresee some sort of mud buildup building up on it, or small rocks being flung into it. Then again, the owner’s truck might not be driving anywhere further than a paved state park or a starbucks. I feel as though the LC100 intake tube is MUCH more durable, and that’s the most important part of a snorkel system!

Checked this out and looks like some type of unintentional multiquote mishmash of sunnier's and rusty's posts. Rusty posted about the stickers.

That's what happens when Japan gives QA/C controll to the make me rich USA types. Same goes for the 1,000,000% DEI diversity affirmative action hired design team who wouldn't know a good body line if their Tesla told them what it was.

Japan needs to be like yeah, ya FucT it, were gonna take it from here.

Wow. You can make some really cool complex plastic items with a 3D plastic printer. This is from my local Microcenter in Cambridge. They must be catering to the MIT crowd.

I know goiters/groyters... (whatever the name is) is all the rage for ceramic, but this is the easiest shit I've ever used, that lasts like 8mo or more.

Side note, Samurai is done. Up for sale on FBMP. Think pops has it at $17.5k, but would take less. Needs some 30s on it, but the 27 swampers on it were brand new. 1986 model with 59k miles on it.

Yep. I went back and saw you wrote 2.4L originally. Funny that you mention this. I was talking to my FIL today. He also has a 2012 RAV4 and his is drinking oil. He's had it since new and changes the oil every 15k. Pretty sure he uses Amsoil and I'm quite sure I'd never go that long between oil changes. I've always changed ours every 3,500-5000 miles. More frequently when we do more city driving.

The thing I like about the LC100 snorkel is it mounts very sturdy to the fender. I have 7 studs at the base. Much sturdier than the one posted would be.

Reminds me. Found a rooster leg in the yard the other day. Then I found another one attached to a ribcage. Ribcage was picked clean.
Guess that's one less annoyance waking me up. Tossed them over the fence so they'll know where it went. Wonder what ate it. We have coons, foxes, cats... in the neighborhood.

I'm seeing a lot of 'we did because we could' stuff, but not anything I'd actually want in my life.
I do like the 3D printed replacement button on my vacuum though - that made life better.
