I need new tires for my 21 TRD pro and have a road trip starting this weekend on Sunday.

I had ordered Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 on Costco.com. But shipping was delayed so the tires won’t arrive in time.

My local Costco told me the only tires they have in stock that will fit my Truck is Michelin X LT A/S 2

I have heard that these are actually the same tire.

Anyone have experience with Costco’s Michelin X LT A/S2 ?

I live in Dallas so rarely see snow and drive exclusively on paved roads (no off-roading aside from occasional gravel road).

I would drive on over to Discount tire and get a real selection that’s actually in the store. Costco is very limited.

Weird... They do look identical, and I don't see any difference on the specs. I wonder if they are looking at replacing the Defenders w/these :notsure:

It looks like they are still carrying the OE LTX A/T 2s (which are the OE tires)... Just a tad more aggressive and less mileage than the Defenders.

I have no first hand experience w/them, but if you're shooting for the Defenders at the Costco price point, I"d probably give those X LT A/S2s a shot
