For that money I want to see the weld process and what filler and base metals are being used.

It's cold mig with some questionable tie ins at the starts/stops.

Maybe Im a hater, but to have these anomaly's in your products beauty shots is odd.

I was doing some forum searching for an engine dying at low speeds issue my brother is having in his 2001 Sequoia after a transmission service, and came across these sock posts lol. Look into Darn Tough socks if you're not familiar with them already. Expensive, but they have a lifetime warranty. Holes in your sock? They send you new ones.

Okay, so it’s a known loss to get people in the door. I was more worried about whether the hot dog contained any real beef, pork or chicken and if not was instead made from unknown animals or a chemical lab somewhere.

95% of a grocery stores inventory these days.

The meat processor called me today. My cow is ready to pickup on Monday.

What did processing the cow run you?

We have briefly talked about it for our family, but haven't had the time to look into it

1300lbs live weight and I paid the rancher $2400
7xx pounds hanging weight for the 28 day aging, processing cost $1010

A 1/4 or a 1/2 is a lot less investment, I just eat a lot of beef. Also I'm in the beef capitol of the world so pricing will likely be a little different.

So $3500 after taxes, and what not? If you're a carnivore as you say, how long do you expect the whole cow to last you?

Of course there's "lost" weight in the bones unless you make bone soup

I wish I could do that with fish. I eat a lot of it and usually the restaurants get the best cuts first.

Meat runs between $4-20/lb here depending upon the cut.

Oh yeah I hadn't even considered all the different cuts he'd be getting from a full cow. My dumb brain went straight to ground beef.

Those prices are with taxes. There's definitely some "waste" but everything that goes to the dog food plant is almost inedible. I get the long bones canoed and roast them. Also I get all the organ meat which cost a little more for processing/packaging.

I ate a 1/2 last year in 5 months or so. Definitely putting the ribeyes on the bottom of the freezer this year

I’ll have to figure out where my fam is in texas, but they grow beef….. and I’m sure they could fill the rest of your obsession for ribeyes…… I was always jealous of my cousins driving tractors and feeding the cows when they were no older than 6 Hahahah
