Can anyone tell me if the OEM tow mirrors have the following:

    - heat
    - power folding - I doubt this for sure lol
    - bsm
    - auto dimming

Asking because I def need a set of tow mirrors, but at the same time my current original mirrors have all the options above. I can do without power folding but would love to have them heated and auto dimming with bsm.

    Thank you!!!

I like my tow mirrors on '21 tundra, they are heated(feature that was added by the guy that ordered it but didn't purchase it.)
    I don't even extend them
    I tow every day

when I back up I make damn sure I now where every thing is every inch of the way

    Mine are manual folding
    They are heated
There is a lower mirror that is manually adjusted to peek blind spot, I adjust it to view my trailer tire...upper mirror is automatic
    not aware of any dimming

I think there are many different configurations on the mirrors on Tundras

I had the tow mirrors on my other Tundra and regretted putting them on. The veiw from the passenger side is pretty bad and I could loss vehicles in the left lane. Even on the driver's side the mirror block the view looking forward and I could loose pedestrians crossing the street. On my current Tundra I have the fully optioned mirrors and did didn't want to give up those features with poor vision so I went with a set of snap on mirrors when towing. They are available on Amazon and have very good reviews.

Interesting you bring that up re: the mirrors. I find the current set of OEM regular mirrors themselves are quite large and I have had a couple instances where they've blocked traffic when pulling out somewhere. Def the even larger tow mirrors can be concerning too for that reason.

I have that Amazon set I picked up locally for $20 lol. My prop with them is they vibrate excessive making it hard to focus when towing. Mind you, with the extended size, they've been know to block view for me as well when pulling out.

There is a set screw that you can remove to remove the mirror. I used a piece of pool noodle over the pin to act as a cushion and hold the mirror steady. Set the screw tight and mine does not move. You have to cut the noodle at an angle and you may have to try it a few times to get it right.

Weird, I would not have bought them had I saw not compatible with 2016.... Yes, my truck is 2016 and they fit just fine. I am considering other mirrors, though, just on available view on the mirror themselves.
