I have been researching the Truck2go covers everywhere and can't find any real feedback either on the forums or in FaceBook groups. So I am trying to see if anyone either has it currently installed on their truck and would like some feedback.

I had a RetraxPro XR on my previous 2016 Tundra and loved it, but paying $2200 for a new vs ~$950 Shipped for a new from Truck2go seems like a more reasonable option if it's good.

I am also comparing these two covers. Did you ever find any feedback? What did you end up with?

Anything on these or maybe the rough country that looks like the roll and lock?

Just purchased the E-Power Truck2Go. Coming next week. Called around about installs. I got answers anywhere from $350-700. Wow. Finally found a shop that actually looked into it, said they think they can get it done in an hour or so, $150/hr shop rate. I mentioned the electrical, they said it should be fine still in around that time. I’m in Seattle, shop is in Kirkland. If I don’t post back here on what I like/dislike, maybe add a comment to remind me. My total cost was under 1500 with shipping. That’s less than half the Retrax electric version. If I can buy two of these and get them installed at the same cost, I’m willing to take a shot.

Oh and I’ll tell you my price was cheaper because I first got the Memorial Day Sale with 15% off, and the BROWSE5 promo code for another 5%. When I asked if they’d honor the sale price after it had ended, they say yes. If anyone needs a pic of my invoice to get the best price, lemme know.

Hey did you end up liking the quality, look, function of the Truck2go cover? I’m thinking of getting the Pro retractable and ladder rack set up.

Well, tough to say. So, I had someone install it and not long after I had some issues. It seemed as if the gear on one side was off and when closing, it would reach the end near the tailgate and make a loud popping noise. After my brother and I inspected it, we found several issues with the installer’s work. We made some adjustments where the guy had clearly rushed through, and now it’s not perfect, but it doesn’t pop anymore. What it does now is close, and then back off leaving about 6” open. I then close it again and it closes fully. Very hard to say if this was a flaw in the product or part of the installer’s terrible work.

That said, the customer service was very easy to work with. Very responsive. How responsive? Well, I wrote them an email one night, hoping to discuss the issue, and the next morning I received a tracking number from them before I had even heard back. In fact, I didn’t even really hear back. I just got a new one sent to me and the didn’t want the old one back when I contacted them.

I haven’t had time to install the new one, but aside from those issues (and who knows if the flaw was install, product, or what I think, which is both), the only other real issue I have is the fob seems to often require a couple pushes of the button but I haven’t tried changing the battery yet. I’ll update this later but it’ll be a couple months probably.
