Looks good! Doesn't stick out as much as I thought it would with the spacers

I thought it was going to stick out quite a bit as well but they're actually about dead even with the fender flares. Supposed to have a guy coming tomorrow to buy my extra set to put on his GX.

Will get better pictures when it's back home.

Been talking to Apache Off Road and think I'm going to go with the Superpro Offset LCA's and their matching UCA's. Got a link to the exact Eibach ones you're talking about?

Do you have KDSS? I just noticed the SuperPro Offset version says:

    Fits Vehicles WITHOUT KDSS Only

I think only the later model and Sport package GX470's had KDSS. My 2005 doesn't have it.

    Nope, no KDSS here. Thankfully.

Alright, decided on Freedom Offroad upper and lowers and ordered the CVJ Axles. Hopefully this is the end of it. This lift hot expensive real quick.

Finally got the truck back and already have new coils ordered for the front. Too much rake :(

Much better. 1/2" made all the difference (that's what she said).

Still debating on adding a strut spacer up front to get another 1/2" out of it. That should make it perfectly level. What y'all think?

I like a tiny amount of rake, where the front is lower. But I guess it depends on how the ride feels as is. It does look like there's a lot more room on the rear wheel well. I think if you deleted the running boards, you could fit slightly larger tires that would fit the look better. I'm going to end up getting those electric Amp running boards.

The running boards are definitely getting dumped. Just been lazy. Do they make Amp steps for these? I love those but didn't think anyone made actual steps really. Was going to get some rock sliders to use as steps at some point.

I'll definitely go a tad larger on tires when it's time.

No, they don't. I *think they have one for the 4runner, which is the same as the GX. I've also read that some people have installed them but you have to order a custom length. Haven't fully researched the option since I'm not at that stage yet. I've removed my running boards and cargo rails though. I kinda like the look better. I would like to replace the cargo rails with something lower profile.

I don't have a good outside pic of it yet, but here's how it currently sits with the Eibach Pro coilovers in front and Eibach adjustable rear coils

I've seen that and might be the route I go. It's either that or cut it off. Another thing I haven't given much thought to as of yet. My project is again on hold until I move (again)

I've got an extra set of them if you decide to go that route. Will send them your way for 20 bucks.

With all of the plastic trimmed away the factory steps are decently high clearance. Some trim levels of the 4th Gen 4runner also have a black version that are pretty high and tight that bolt right up. Never got around to painting mine black before I sold it. I also hooked up some rock lights to the factory wiring for the step lights so they'd come on and off with the doors.

After taking some measurements I did decide to order the 1/4" strut spacers for the front. It'll still have a little rake, just slightly less.

Truck back at the shop today. Hopefully for the last time. New steering rack from CVJ, new belt and tensioner, and 1/2" more lift up front. Then it's on to getting some scratches fixed here and there before it gets wrapped.

My wrap guy has a few extra rolls of this color from when he did this one. Gonna throw it on the GX. IMG-20240408-WA0003.jpg IMG-20240408-WA0002.jpg

Yea it changes a bit. It wouldn't be my first choice, but for free. I love it.

If I had any option I'd go for a solid gray that looks more like the first photo.
