Did you replace it with a genuine Denso pump or parts store pumps? I remember at least two poor, uninformed suckers who didn’t buy Denso brand from a trusted source, opted for store brand instead, and had to rip the tank right back out and replace the pump within hours or days. Starters and fuel pumps are one of those parts where people learn the “shitty side of store brands” the hard way, when they find their partners DOA. It happens. A LOT.

This is one of those parts where you only use Denso - it’s guaranteed compatible, it’s OEM manufacturer of the original, it will last 4x-5x longer than any store brand but only costs like 1.5x as much.

Didyou splice any wires to install the pump?

Did you remove the negative battery cable while installing the pump? If not, did you check all fuses under the hood, and in the in-dash fusebox, make sure you don’t pop anything OR that the part and/or install didn’t pop anything?

You confirmed power to the relay?

You confirm power to the pump, or try running a battery to the pump?

The aftermarket Denso 951-0017 pump has recently been unavailable. Probably a Delphi if from NAPA OR they gave you the pump for a 6 cylinder.

Dealer pump is $300+ but they hold up.

Getting close for the need to hoard parts now with so many becoming NLA.
