Variable runner intake for 2000-2002 tundra

So @Sunnier, you report positive gains based on butt dyno?

I realize the 12 holes were installed at the sane time. Obviously that would skew the results and feels of just the intake, but stating that for someone considering this without the 12 hole jobbers.

Anyways, how does it feel? More torque-y?
Mo' powaa? Fuel economy change any?

Again, I realize that hulk isn't a hauler like crackie is going to be. Hulk does haul ass though and plenty of it. Some of the pics that have been posted made my britches tight, and moist. NGL.

Ok, so I don't need any additional parts beyond the 05-06 manifold and throttle body to bolt it into my 03? I assume my 250cc DD injectors will suffice with the new manifold.
I can't believe it's going to be that straight forward. Awesome!

@txagg looks like we got a project. I hope you grabbed the throttle body too.
I might have to figure out a way to connect my 00-04 Volant intake to the new throttle body though. I could be mistaken, but I believe the new TB is a few mm wider.

I guess mine is the same bolt pattern as the 00-02, but mechanically the same as the 05-06. Not sure. I'll have to grab some gaskets for sure.

 

You’ll need the fuel rails too.

Ok so my buddy has a manifold for me, but I'm a little confused. So can I use my 03 throttle body and fuel rail or do I need to get those from an 05-06? I guess once I know that, I'll still just need the felpro 05-06 manifold gaskets and some RTV.
You kinda brushed over the vacuum line situation. Hopefully it's pretty self explatory once I have everything in my possession. I guess I should study under the hood of my 06 Tundra before attempting this swap on my 03.

I can't wait to see how this feels with your injectors, long tubes, Volant intake, TRD exhaust, 4.10 gears and quantum tune.
I'm back and forth on buying a Bullet supercharger kit. But this mod, a long with the coolant bypass should hold me over for a few months haha
