Best tool box

KB.. that is killer. Details?

 

I like my Tractor Supply box, I have the standard size one with pull handles instead of latches. Pretty decent box for less than $300, though I may try and trade it in for a low pro one.

 

I use a tool box with a tonno cover best option for what I do. I cut the tonno cover to fit my tool box.

If you have tonneau cover or are planning to get one, BAKBox is a feasible choice. I have two SwingCases because I didn't want to have to reach that far each time I need something from it.

Do these not come with a lid? Since the tonneau would act as one? This would be perfect to mount additional battery/batteries and a compressor in. But I'm going to be running a rack, not a tonneau, so a lid would be needed.

 

I don't think they come with the top. They are designed to be used with some sort of tonneau cover. You could also fold it up when you are not using it. You could always contact them to see if they could provide some sort of cover.

 

For this, I assume the brackets would be slid into place and then holding the tool box to line up with said bracket and begin fastening it into place?
Then you could also slide it to where required?

Does this have a lock on it.. ??

 

It does have a lock. You can lock the lid closed (lock included) and you can lock the case from swinging (not included) which would keep it from being able to be removed from the bed.
