Might have done a little spray-n-wipe wax treatment.

Is there any other kind of shine on the amount of panel these things have? Griots 3-in-1 for the win on mine.

I added a TrailerValet 2k to the tongue and the flip foot. So far so good. If your a Costco member, they have an external link to TrailerValet products.

But with replacing the bunk end, I found a lot more delaminating panels. Kinda feel like I was had when we looked at it, but I think I’ll just use it as is until we upgrade or realize it’s not for us. IMG_2552.jpg

Now that we've officially spun off on detailing our trailers, has anyone found a relatively effortless cleaner for the roof? Mine has a one piece fibreglass laminate roof that is getting pretty gungy. I've scrubbed and scrubbed but really hope there is something out there that will cut this dirt better than dawn. I keep the horizontal surfaces looking nice with Turtle Wax in a squeeze bottle twice a year but no way am I getting on the roof that often.

Is it the black streaks, which are really hard to remove? Or is it general grime? I bought a black streak removing spray a few months ago. I read about a home made version but don’t recall the formula.

There is a specific cleaner for rubber roofs that has some rubber conditioner in it. I’ve used it with good results, not stark white, but very clean. Think it’s a Camco product. Also have used dawn soap with luck too. I am not parked under any trees though.

It’s a fiberglass top right? I think I’d clean that with hot water/white vinegar

Less likely to be fiberglass. Typical roofs on RVs are metal, or rubber. Rubber is most common these days. Having a couple of tubes of self leveling RV roof caulk is handy. After I clean, I walk the roof and touch up any spots that look suspect.

    https://www.thefitrv.com/rv-tech/rv-roof-basics-the-3-main-types-and-how-to-maintain-them/

edit: and by RV I’m really talking travel trailers. I’m guessing the big bus RVs may have fiberglass roofs? All of the travel trailers I’ve owned and looked at have been metal (older ones) or rubber / membrane roofs.

Geez, reading is fundamental. Just re-read his post where he clearly states his is fiberglass. Doh.

This time of year you have to climb for cooler temps. That was outside of Flagstaff. Next week is Alpine which is around 8500' and lows are still hovering under 40* About 4hrs east of Phoenix.

The pop up gazebo is a game changer for North East bug season, I bought this one off Amazon, the brand is called Tangula and it's nearly identical as Gazelle G6 for 1/2 of the price, and Bear (the dog) is turning 17 in a few days.
