I've heard nothing but good things about those. Just carry an air compressor and you'll be good to inflate / deflate as needed.

    Nothing earth shattering

Installed an Odyssey 27F AGM, the battery hold down, and SDHQ battery terminals.

I'll redo the red cover later--its starting to rain

Is that TPMS thing you have one of those with sensor in the valve stem cap?

Kinda want a pressure display like that for my 2015 Sequoia.

Yessir! The previous owner did not put the sensors back in the wheels when he swapped them. This was the next best thing

Did you compare the transmission temperature with the Scan Gauge pre- and post- transmission cooler, while towing your travel trailer? Can the transmission cooler be shut off with a valve?

Unfortunately, no. I drove straight through from VA to ME. I was concentrating more on the construction and crappy roads lol. Due to poor road conditions, I separated a rear axle, lost my front alignment, and the brackets for the travel trailer side skirts either worked their way loose, or the independent suspension contacted and ripped off the brackets. Either way, made it in one piece, but did not review any of the numbers. I did notice that the needle never moved from the center of the transmission temp gauge--and I never had to turn on the fan I installed.

You could probably create a bypass loop with three shut off valves. Using the same concept as plumbing in a water filter or softening in your home. You install a bypass line that transfers the fluid from the line coming from the transmission into the line going back to the transmission. This would bypass the plate and fin cooler at the front of the vehicle. See attached for a better visual. Replace "conditioner" with coolerThe three shutoff valves can be whatever you want. I recommend brass valves.

Wow, what an ordeal! I just came back from the Down East ME. The local roads there were in all honesty MUCH better than the municipal roadways where I live in Southern NE. I didn't do any back country driving; it was all paved roadways for us.
Odd that all the damage happened to your towing vehicle with all the suspension modifications and not the stick-built camper with what I'm assuming is equipped with "basic" suspension. I monitored the transmission temperature, utilizing the Scan Gauge III during the 700 miles round trip, and it didn't go above 210; it was a mix of highways and rather hilly back roads. I don't have the transmission cooler and as of now I don't see the need for one.

I think the damage occurred from a combination of driving too fast in the narrow construction corridors in some of the small towns. I didn't have the option to miss the large potholes and I think I just hit one too many. The travel trailer has the curt beast mode suspension. I've been really happy with how smooth it is, but the bracket in between the two wheels, on both sides, is what broke off. I am guessing that one of the tires may have kissed the bracket going over those bumps, but who knows.

I would say, with those trans temp numbers, you're good! I only added it for peace of mind towing, but would say that it is overkill when not towing--especially with the low ambient temps up here.
