Does anyone know if you need to do a zero point calibration on 5.7 tundra after changing clock spring

No I didn't do it. If you make sure you mark your steering wheel before you remove it. You will not need to do anything.

Yeah that was my mistake unfortunately

broke clock spring while replacing evaporator and didn’t mark when pulled it out

put on new clock spring but wheel is all crooked not aligned with steering

Do you just need to put the wheel straight, take out clockspring and reinstall while wheels are straight ?

You shouldn’t have to pull the clock spring, just the steering wheel after you remove the big nut behind air bag. If you look, the female end of the steering wheel has teeth. Straighten your tires and then adjust the steering wheel position by shifting the steering wheel position. You might have to try it a couple of times to get it right.

Aah well obviously it's not supposed to do that. I would recheck your wiring. Or some short in wiring that is causing those issues. Good luck.
