1st Gen camper shell buying info

I want this, but I am skeptical of fit based on the the description. There is no way I can make it to NM anytime soon to pick it up.

 

That is nice. With the whole overlanding explosion recently I almost forget that these have been around a long time. I remember a guy I worked with at a seasonal Forest Service job was living out of his truck with one of those, in about 2002. And it definitely wasn't brand new back then.

Stepchild Leer Topper $200 in OK (paint is rough)

 

Might be for an FGT AC. $300 in Dallas. Looks like a Leer. Need to Holba Espanol

 

Seller "knows what he's got" and has it priced about $300 too high given the condition and issues, but whatever.

Black Leer 100R for $650, is listed as a DC cap, but based on the fitment on the white Tundra, I think it's actually an AC cap. But again, "knows what he's got". Badge just inside the door would tell you, if it says "100R - 65TUN" it's an AC cap.

Check out this Americraft shell. Mid? rise with windoors and sliders. From what I'm reading, Americraft was based out of SLC but is now out of business. Truck is for sale, shell is not.

Sadly, I'd have loved to see a pic of how it aligns with the rear of the cab. Otherwise, potentially awesome lightweight setup for someone wanting to build for outdoor use.

No, I've only checked out two white ones in person. But they did both have missing windows.

 

It's on a DC but looks like it may actually be for an AC. $950 located on the left coast

 

So I realize that this is for a Ferd, but the measurements are only an inch different in length than ours and for $100 one could be inclined to use it on an FGT
