    Okay I am thoroughly perplexed. I have 12v every where I should. I just remembered my license plate lights haven't worked in forever, so I'll replace those...could it be that simple?

    I don't have the DRL fuse, so I think the license plate lights are tied into the trailer harness.

    Here's an odd one, are the bulbs directional? Some brake light bulbs have a high input, bright, and a low input, running/ dim light side. I know it's really low end on the knowledge scale but I learned this lesson when I was 17 and got a ticket for my brake light not functioning

    @VR6T thanks for the input.

    Everything on the truck side is passing the test, it appears. The bulb that's giving me fits on the trailer is a basic Sylvania 1157. The passenger side bulb is a 2057 and works fine, almost the same exact bulb as the 1157. Tried it on the driver's side and it doesn't work either.

    At this point I'd replace the terminal socket for the bulb. I know you said it tested good, but it's like the only thing that's not adding up.

    Stupid question but is it the correct bulb for the socket?

    So any of you guys/gals who replaced their 00-02 chrome bumpers know what support piece in the back of the bumper have the clip locations for the side splash guards?

    I’m wondering if I can buy it new or if I need to scour salvage yards. Obviously mine rotted away in both locations on the passenger side.

    Is it part #13? @$257…ouch.

    Agreed. It is the common denominator.

    Yessir.

    There's an 04 and 01 at the junkyard. Might run over and see if they have anything worth salvaging.

    That makes sense. Now I have no idea what that support bracket is in my pic. It’s definitely not part of the chrome bumper or anything shown in the diagram. :confused:

    It's easier just to grab the panel. Gotta remove the lower to pop it down/out I think.

    I'd be surprised if it was, but LMK. I'll probably be paying about the same in shipping but if you're saying it's in great shape ... it is what it is, I guess I'll pay it knowing it's the right one/size. I'm good for it.

    @jerryallday I assume you know, but those just velcro in, in case it's important to removal. The side skirts and bulkhead zip apart where they meet the floor.
