To be clear, I learned the term here about 4-6 weeks or so back. I was mortified and then left cowering, wondering if I've been vabbed before. Gross, but resourceful.

 

Mortified because you were lured into a woman's love nest with her vaginal secretions? Honestly there's no better beginning to a love story than being lured into her... well, you know where I'm going with this.

 

I feel like, if this was real, it would have made it's way into an Austin Powers movie. I'd 100% willingly get vabbed by Elizabeth Hurley. Otherwise, I'm not into chemical warfare.

But! Thanks to this forum, and this thread specifically, I was able to educate other adults on the topic and expand their vocabulary. The response was a universal

Well, although the trend is recent, the first few mentions of it in pop culture were in Tom Robbins' 1976 novel Even Cowgirls Get the Blues; in the book, a lesbian cowgirl gives a step-by-step guide to vabbing.

ah yes, that's one of the few Tom Robbins books I've never read. But doesn't surprise me that he went there. His main character is always a female.

One of the best writers and storytellers around. You should give him a try if you read. I'd start with Jitterbug Perfume. I can even send you a copy if you pm me your mailing address.

 

Depends on what he writes. I read purely for entertainment, so mostly fantasy, a bit of sci-fi, and then whatever category Dean Koontz would fall into. Never been able to finish a Stephen King (puts me to sleep), and Tom Clancy is a blowhard that gets off on using stupid acronyms over and over. I did read the first 2-3 Bourne (Identity) books by Robert Ludlum, and they were infinitely better than the movie.

I read in binges, and then I'll go off of reading for months or even years at a time.
