Tailgate lock automatic?

Just got my platinum off road yesterday and noticed that it doesn’t lock with the key fob. Previous generation I used a key to physically lock it. Does this one have a function somewhere to make it lock automatically when you lock the doors?

 

mine locks when you lock the doors, it also locks/unlocks the entire truck from the tailgate with the small button to the right on the handle.

one stupid thing, are you sure you don't have the fob in your pocket when you try to open it thinking its locked? it reads the fob and opens right up

 

There are kits to add to the tailgate to lock/unlock with fob

 

It does lock with fob, you can hear it when you press the button. Leave your keys In the house and try the tailgate, it'll be locked.

I just got a 2024 white platinum off road yesterday and I was trying the tail gate lock. I still have my 2018 tundra as well. Haven’t updated my picture.
