Whatever this forum told me to do
does the fact that it stays in the dead center of a hwy lane bother you?

it is a deal killer for me.

especially on the 2 lane hwy's in the rural sections.

That's pretty cool. I find it fascinating and want to try it out at some point. I'm afraid if I do I'll wind up with a damn tesla and just be vehicle poor so long that I'll never build the house and garage. LOL

Why would it be bad for it to stay centered in it's lane?

Nah, not at all. I prefer it does. It gives me that quarter of a second to over-ride if I needed to and gives that bit of more room for bicyclists.

because when Semi's pass on a 2 lane/2 way road, I generally move to the right hand side of the lane to avoid all the buffeting.

I was going to use this as a segue into a bitch fest about E-Bikes......but, I refrained.

    I am better than that.

in fact, I am better than all those folks that ride e-bikes!

Not Tesla's fault but becoming a thing in crime free Kalifornia. Just the Headline. The article itself got a bit too political to post. Ha!

You think there aren't already plans to assume control "for the greater good" because of who the face of the company is?

    oh contraire'.

The tesla network is very stable, dare I say bullet-proof.

It charges, what?, >90% of the EV's out there.

it is necessary to complete the puzzle, and 1 man gets all the Money from charging the EV's.
Some, power hungry, folks don't care for that.

Oh no, I'm not that naive. I'm sure it's being discussed but Musk still has FU money and can't be canceled like everyone else

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It would go from a well-oiled machine to EA as soon as the gov got their money hungry mitts on it

Musk has FU Assets, but how much is liquid is debatable. We all know they can get a judge to put stupid fines on people they don't like with no legal grounds for it...

Interesting. Some parts of our highway are 75. Speed is limited to 85 on FSD. Some of these parts if I’m not doing 90+ I will be passed
There was a car coming up on me (I was doing 83/75). Tesla moved me out of the passing lane to the center lane.

PS- I hate the steering wheel nag. I usually just hit the volume control to over ride it each time.
