Hey all, I need to replace the drivers side rear wheel hub. I looked and can't find a preloaded axle for my 2019 . I know I will need a press and the special install tools. Has anyone done this and have tips to make it easier?

There’s no “easy way” to do it. There’s only one way.

Ok, I am assuming you mean using a press and the right tools. Do you have a preferred set of press adapters that work better?

I just removed my entire axle/ bearing assembly and took the whole think to my local machine shop. They removed and I stalled the new bearings.

I only needed the right side done, but did both since they removed so easy.

    Paid $800 for both.

Thanks for the tips gang, I had seen the video with the torch but it makes me nervous about damaging the axle. I called several shops in the area and none of them will do it without the press adapters. I have a 20 ton press so I am going to buy the adapters and give it a shot

You can cut through the race with a cutting wheel on a dremel or grinder.
