Not too bad, lost some low end in first gear, and 6th is basically unusable unless I'm on flat highway. I just leave the truck in S5 and it drives fine, still getting 12ish mpg with my calculations.

That said I ordered 5.29s a couple days ago, gonna ship them to AZ for polishing and cryo treating.

Just checked them out, not a bad idea but they seem sorta pointless once you get real sliders imo

They are not intended to guard against impact. However, they are great to protect from paint chips and excellent to protect the door sills. Just my opinion of course.

Looks good if you're wanting to protect the original paint job. My truck is already riddled with rock chips and the infamous Toyota super white paint peeling. Once it gets a little worse I plan on linexing it.

Would love to see what’s going on here. Did you perform a bed delete mod, then put it back on?

It was my take at a custom flatbed with dry storage built in, ended up loathing it due to the weight.

If I were to build it again I'd do aluminum to shave a couple hundred pounds, and flesh it out so it didn't look to empty and goofy

Definitely better than I could do. If you haven’t already, check out @STravis’s build. He is doing a cool flatbed that is a bit longer than the crewmax bed.

Now that you're not impeded by the wheel wells, you could toss on some 14" or 16" shocks and get some serious flex out of the rear end!

That's a sick bed, I've looked into those Ute style beds. Awesome fab skills to build one like that

With my current Kings already being custom spec for the additional lift in the rear I pull almost 18" of wheel travel. But I did think about relocating them up and doing a custom mount on the axle.
