Okay guys, I have had no luck sourcing the Toyota video connector that they switched to in 2022. However, I am working on a FRAC configuration that can be installed by splicing into two wires behind the head unit. I am building up a prototype now and working with a 3rd Gen owner to check it out.

This first vehicle is an SR5 without the PVM system. If this works as expected, I'll be looking for a volunteer to test this in their PVM-equipped truck.

I have hesitated taking this route because I want to keep the installation as plug and play as possible, but there are now three year-models of Tundras with no FRAC availability and it's time to fix that.

    More to come...

I would be interested and can help test. I have a 2022 SR5 with the PVM.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for this. Been waiting for this!

I don’t mind splicing a couple of wires. Looking forward to placing my order for the production product when it launches!

Second this notion, I don't mind splicing in a few wires for this function but guessing there's some programming logic behind the head unit that may prevent it? Just fraccing out of my ass here and impatiently waiting for a workaround
