    I'm changing the hood bulge and bumper ends.. they'll be white..
    I'm thinking of painting like you did or getting the vinyl wrap.. I spoke to a shop and they said it's kind and hard to wrap the hood bulge since small creases. The etching stuff you bought, did all the chrome come off before you painted, or was it just to scuff it up???

    Its a primer/etcher in one. i cleaned everything real well and used plast-x cleaner....2 coats of the etcher....

    I just got done vinyl wrapping my bulge, grille surround, and bumper ends this past weekend....I've never wrapped anything before and the bulge was tough. I ended up having to do it with 2 pieces strategically overlapped, but it's definitely doable!
