First off, I want to thank everybody here that helped me here on my journey to find my dream truck, the rare RCSB 5.7L 4x4 SR5 TRD. I must have spent $1k on pre-purchase inspections on various Tundras over the last few months to no avail. Clean RCSB 4x4 5.7L TRD are so rare and hard to find it ain't funny and when you do find one they are either in bad shape or somebody gets to it before you do. I just about gave up.

However, I got lucky and found a clean 2007 RCSB 5.7 4x4 SR5 TRD with 65K miles, one owner, no accidents and serviced every six month religiously at the same dealership of purchase no matter how much mileage was on the truck. It even has a Toyota battery. I was set to buy it at a Suburu dealership where it was received on trade but they ended up sending it to auction because it needed brake lines. Then I had to track it down to a small dealership where it ended up. They put in new brake lines and new tires, that's it! I had the sales guy take it to a Toyota dealership for a pre-purchase multi point inspection, they did not find a single issue (First time ever in my life, dealership usually always find something. lol) I was so skeptical that I had him take it to another mechanic for inspection and that mechanic said it was great with zero issues. The sales guy said the phone was ringing off the hook to buy it and people offered over asking price but I had already secured it with a deposit and he stayed true to me. Then I had to wait two weeks because the original owner had issues finding the title but after two weeks it finally arrived. Then I finally bought it a couple days ago and had a shipper ship it to me (First time I bought a vehicle without seeing it). The shipper's truck broke down....but he finally delivered it too me last night late. What a frustrating journey but it was worth it to get this amazing truck.

This is the only used vehicle I have ever bought in my life that literally does not have a single ding or dent on the entire truck! However, it does have a few tiny chips on the hood from rocks. It has a clear bra on the bumper and panels under the headlights that is worn and needs to be removed. Otherwise, mint. Inside looks like new, you can eat off the carpet. Seats are like new and dash is pristine. Frame is good and truck bed pretty. And it drives like a brand new truck, so smooth, Lexus smooth and the 5.7 V8 is crazy powerful, I have to feather the gas pedal off the line because it is so powerful. It seems to get about the same fuel efficiency than my 05 Lexus RX330 V6 that has 103k miles and still drives like new. I suspect about 15 mpg but we'll see. I dive conservative and easy off the line.

This truck drives way better than a new Tacoma V6 that I test drove and feels like better quality. No wonder these older used Tundras are in such high demand and hold their value so well. They are awesome. I will continue the original owner's maintenance schedule and take it to the dealer every six months regardless of mileage to keep it great.

I'm so in love with this Tundra that I 'm thinking about buying a second one, maybe a crew max. lol The build quality is great, feels like such solid built luxury truck. I did not realize how big this truck is, you really do need those steppers to get up in the truck and I'm 6ft. It feels brawny, wide, large and in charge. First time I ever owned a full sized truck and I love it. This is the only regular cab I've ever seen that has great space behind the seats, so much so that you can recline the seats back and take a nap or even put your dog or groceries back there and more. So cool.

Sweet! I've had my 2010 RCSB for a whole 2 weeks! They are crazy fun to drive. Yours is definitely
in better shape and lower miles than mine. I was basically just lucky to find one for sale.
    Watch out, VERY FAST!!

They stopped making them in 2013. I believe they only made 5k or less, probably even less with the TRD SR5 configuration. I've only ever seen one RCSB in person in my life. And to find a one owner RCSB with the cleanest car fax I've ever seen in my life with only 65k miles I feel like I hit a lottery.

lol For me, in stock form, this truck is the fastest truck I've driven so far. I have an old 04' Chevy Express 3500 Van with a 6.0 V8 and this Tundra makes it feel like a four cylinder. lol I'm into motorcycles more, I will just do some cosmetic mods and stereo upgrade on this truck that's about it.

Thanks! I agree, I wish they would bring them back but then I'd hate to see with that V6 turbo and no V8 option. I wish they would bring the V8 back. If they never make a RCSB again it will only go up in value and demand.

    Just did my first mods.
I had to ditch the stock stereo for a new 11.6" Multimedia head unit that runs Android 12 with 8gb Ram and 128 gb drive. It bolts on and clips in like stock, very clean. I also added the tailgate latch back-up camera. It was an easy install and comes with everything you need and fits like stock. So far, it has been great, you don't need to mirror your phone like you do on the Alpine and Kenwood stereos to use apps. You can download all apps on the Google Play store (including video apps) directly on the head unit, it will run nearly any app. Amazing sound, makes the stock speakers sound good, much better than the stock head unit. Video quality is excellent. All the apps I dowloaded worked. The apps I downloaded so far are Freevee, Tubi, Roku and Accuradio. So far so good. I put a huge Tesla style Android multimedia system in my Lexus RX330 a couple years ago and I love it, reason I decided to get one for the Tundra.

I also replaced the stock antenna with a small stub antenna and new antenna base. For such a small antenna it gets just as good reception as that big stock antenna.

I put a bigger rearview mirror that clips on the stock one and it is awesome, so clear and wide. 100% better than the standard stock rearview mirror.

Also, put in some new new Husky mats, great mats.

Future mods, I will get it undercoated and I might change the front and rear bumper to color matched black one. And put a black grill frame on and some new LED headlights.

That's about it tho, I thought about getting a set of aftermarket black 20" wheels but honestly I'd rather have better MPG with the stock wheels and these tires on here are brand new. I'd rather not draw more attention to the truck than it already gets being rare. My neighbor was floored when I got this truck, he said he didn't even know the Tundra came in a RCSB 5.7 4x4. He said it was the first time in his life he ever saw one and he is a Ram truck guy.
