Brakes slamming on while backing up with a trailer on 2024 tundra!

What the F**** Toyota, I have the stupid sensor turned off & brakes still slam on in reverse with trailer, bike rack or cargo carrier! This is F'N ridiculous & cargo items in enclosed trailer got damaged- I think it's time to consult legal with this! Toyota WTF ARE YOU DOING?

 

Mine slams on brakes reversing a trailer, how is this deactivated?

 

My 2000 tundra doesn’t have this problem at all.

I HATE this "feature". But, at least when you hit the button that turns it off, it stays off. Now, can we turn of the crazy beeping when backing the trailer? I'm very aware that the trailer I spent time hooking up is there.

 

There is a little speaker icon top right on display screen. Tap it to mute. You have to do it every time you shift out of reverse
