Trust me I'm far from being a racist, a realist yes, but a racist no. Shit even though I'm a big ol crazy Irish white boy, my kids are not all white. My ol lady got some Spanish and other non white blood in her so my kids are like the ultimate mutts. I've seen and even been on both sides of the fence. I grew up in a tough neighborhood and still have a bunch of friends from there. I've managed to get my head screwed on pretty straight and grew out of doing all that crazy shit I once did in my crazy youth. Although I'm not perfect, I've matured alot and managed to do pretty well for me and my fam. 15-20 yrs ago I was pretty crazy and doing some pretty crazy shit. My point is I've been around and like i said I've seen and lived on both sides of the fence. If someone takes offense to what I said tough shit. I'm just being real, being me, and stating the facts. Someone can't say I'm racist or don't know what I'm talking about bc that's bullshit and furthest from truth. If I lived in a shitty neighborhood now as I once did growing up I'd still lock my shit up the same. I'm just trying to help those that might think bc they live in a nice town they don't have to worry about that stuff, that too, is very far from truth. I'm not slamming any particular group of people or suggesting any particular type of person is to blame for theft. There's plenty of white crack, meth, pill addicts out there too that make the nice towns their targets for theft. Some even live in those nice towns. All I'm saying is the truth, that people in general target the nice neighborhoods when they go out looking to steal something. If someone don't like or want me saying that, tough shit, I won't apologize for speaking truth n trying to help anyone. I'd help anyone regardless of what they look like or where they live. Anyone that knows me, knows I got plenty friends of all races with nothing to prove. All who know me know 2 things bout me, if they good and do right by me I'd take the shirt off my back for them regardless of color, they also know if they do me real wrong with something real serious I'd knock their head off their shoulders for them regardless of color. Lol.

    For you, I charge double.

We've got bad shit happening in our neighborhood all the time. Break-ins and robberies are regular occurrences. Gun fire is occasional but close. A few months ago, a neighbor walked out of their house to see someone trying to steal his car. He started to confront the thief who then shot and killed the neighbor with an AR. In his front yard. He then ran and starting shooting at the first cops who showed up. The response was a little mind blowing to see the least.

I have a whole list of experiences like those from "nice" neighborhoods. While I am comfortable around firearms, I've never kept one in the house. Every now and then, I reconsider though.

HA! funny you mention that! so I bought the bulge a couple years ago for my 2015. don't even remember the site but I got it for like $140. The bulge was not OEM, but the lower piece of the grill was. Anyway, I guess the paint they used wasn't very good because the sun just ate away at it and cause it to fade. but I just painted over it Saturday night with about 5 coats of the dupli-color magnetic grey and 4 clear coats and it looks great. ill post a pic of what it looked like yesterday at the beach. the guy I was with couldn't even tell it was painted, until I told him of course

Got the caps and handles switched out this afternoon. One step closer to no more chrome. Don't worry about the oil, we own a lemon trailblazer. And yes it needs a bath

Not too dive into too many details but, this is the nicest neighborhood we've ever lived in. In SoCal, the sheriffs came by our house after a massive fire fight a few blocks away. They told us where to hunker down if the gang violence flared up again. I would find shell casings and magazines in the gutter while walking the dog. This is very different. It's old, historic Denver. A mile east are brand new pop up neighborhoods. In between are those caught in the gentrification. Could blame be laid? Sure but I'm never one to point fingers. We're not moving nor could we if we needed to.
