same oem vsa toyota warranty, but usually about 1/2 the cost of what most dealer charge

the price jump from 10/100 to 10/125 is pretty steep even going thru the preferred person on here. usually the sweet spot from what i remember its 10/100, around middle of one thru two with three oooh's.

Same here, if possible. I didn't buy the warranty as it was ridiculously expensive. Does it matter what state I am in? I'm in VA. Any dealer will honor the warranty that Jerry sells?

 

I also would like to know if Jerry's offering the same official Toyota 10yrs/100k mi comprehensive extended warranty as the dealership. That's what I'm looking for my new 2024 Limited. If anyone would like to send me a quote please PM me. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Sent you a DM...yes, they are the official Toyota Financial Services warranty programs. I provided the pricing I received as well as links to the TFS web sites for terms and conditions.

Just bought a 24 Tundra. I sent an email to Jerry, but if anyone else wants to DM me with pricing for a 10/100 and a 10/125 I would appreciate it.

 

Can you cancel the extended factory warranty and buy another one? I thought I read you couldn't get an extended warranty from the factory again if you cancelled one.

I had trouble with their web site and found out it was because I entered Tundras.com in the "where did you hear about us" which created an error. When I changed it to "Tundras forum" it went through with prices similar to Jerry's.

 

Reading back a few pages, other member said they did.

 

Just spoke with Jennifer at Lexus and she said they only offer a Lexus warranty. Not sure if it’s changed from in the past but just a heads up for members.

Yes, spoke with Jerry today. He's super busy handling many calls. Just ping him via email every few days with the info of your vehicle. It's worth the patience. He's definitely an awesome sales rep to deal with and his pricing is very competitive.

I spoke to Jerry earlier this evening, he set me up with an extended warranty. He's very thorough; he noticed my dealer had the wrong VIN on some paperwork, but it all worked out. He's very professional and I'd recommend him to anyone in my family. He said he gets a TON of calls and emails everyday. If you haven't heard from him I'd suggest sending an email with all the info he needs - then he'll contact you to verify everything and process the payment. Well worth the time and effort....saved over 50% on what my local dealer quoted (and I beat them down a lot before walking away). I couldn't be happier. Thx

 

Just FYI, FD Warranty doesn't sell warranties to California residents. All other states are ok.

 

$1200 8yr 125k extended warranty just because I did the math on this gen release and it would put me at 10yrs on my 24' for a true statistical span on this 3rd gen if issues arise...usually 10yrs you'll get to know what weakest points of this gen's issues are

 

Just to add more positive feedback, I recently reached out to Jerry and FD-Warranty. Troy at FD-Warranty responded to my inquiry in about 12 hours. In less than 48 hours in total, I had reached out via email, received an email quote, and spoke with Troy twice on the phone. That is all it took from first contact until I had purchased my Platinum Coverage, $0 Deductible 7 yr/125k Toyota Warranty. Troy was great to deal with and answered all of my questions quickly and intelligently. He knows his stuff!

 

Is the FD warranty the same as Toyotas extended? Is it bumper to bumper?

 

Yes (it is a Toyota warranty) and basically yes (not maintenance items, interior trim, exterior trim, etc.). I purchased the Toyota Platinum, $0 deductible Vehicle Service Agreement.
