The moon roof on my 2014 Tundra Platinum suddenly stopped operating. Right now it's stuck in the " just slightly opened " mode & is leaking air. Annoying to say the least. Could it be a fuse ? Where is the fuse located ? Any other ideas ?
    Thanks,
    Pete

How many miles are on it? Can anything be stuck in the track?

Somewhere in my owners manual I recall reading about cycling the moonroof after removing or replacing the battery. It was basically pushing and holding the buttons in a particular sequence to ensure that the tilt and full open/close work properly. Don't know if that'll help but might be worth a look.

37,900 miles. I haven't recently changed battery or disconnected battery cables. Can something get in the track if it's been closed for at least 3 months ?

One possibility check your sunroof switch, it may need replacing. Or what @duece292 said. This is the first time I have heard of this issue.

You appear to be pretty close to the 3/36 warranty. I'd see if the dealer will fix it as an accommodation.

Or at a minimum meet you half way...that would be fair if your that close to factory warranty.
Let us know how it goes...

Not yet Deuce. I've been working 7 days a week & haven't had a chance to evaluate the situation some more. I'll keep y'all posted.

If you haven't checked the fuses yet, there's the obvious fuse box under the hood. If it's not there, there's another fuse box in the cab. You have to lay on your back in the driver's footwell and look up near the parking brake area. Sorry, I don't have a sunroof so I can't tell you which box it's in.

Well guys, I found the fuse ( under the dash ). It seems to be fine. I guess I'll have to explore other options.

I know this is an old thread, but did you figure out the problem? I bought a 2012 last week, and it did this same thing to me today.

I bought a 2014 last week, changed battery yesterday. Had sunroof open today. Tonight tried to open it again, nothing. 25A Fuse under dash is good too. Any fixes?

Try this in post #2. Should be the same for Tundras. I know this is for the auto-open/close but perhaps it'll work too.
