I have to edit almost all my posts for corrections 3 or 4 times after I post them.
I spelled paranormal incorrectly in the post above yours..

 

Something was in the water yesterday. Or in my case coffee. Homeboy walks into my pharmacy waiting on psych meds. Decides to spice up his coffee with half a dozen pumps of my hand sanitizer. Comes back and does it again before security nabbed him.

 

For me it's when I actually do post something and I reply on a quote, I have issues posting reply before I actually write anything so it becomes a blind reply. Mostly my reasons for just remaining silent and hanging out in the background.

Normally I do edit all my stuff. And honestly I did edit my post but there are some words when you know you spell them correctly but fucking Siri changes them anyway. So I go back and retype it and she changes it again. I was thinking I'll leave the group with a good dad joke and go to bed so I honestly didn't even notice that Siri and her obsessive auto correction of correctly spelled words to more commonly used words had changed it for a third time.

My text threads where I don't proof as religiously are an abomination. And that's just embarrassing for some who studied journalism in college.

 

Siri talk-to-text is the worst.
I use it to text while I'm driving at work.
I don't text much but she rarely gets the words correct..

When I was young I learned a simple rule “right tool for the right job”. Later I learned great quality tools do the job better. Today I finally had a chance to start installing my Matt Gecko bed lights (been too cold and too busy). I learned that the wonderful package deal on my bed liner and BedRug was done by a micro-chephalic worker who did not know what a torx screw is. In order to remove the bed rail this genius used a grinder to make it into a slotted screw. Very disappointing and adds time and money to a simple project.
