I've seen a couple nice first gens in the Etown area but haven't ever seen any of them on here. Wonder if they've all ended up in a Facebook group.

    Could be.

Funny, I never paid attention to these Toyotas until I had one. Now that I have one it seems I see 3 or 4 FGTs a day.

Sadly I'll occasionally see one with what looks like a LBJ failure, saw one on the Snyder a few weeks ago.

True story, neighbor diagonal behind house inherited the place. Drug addict. ripped every kitchen cabinet out of the house and burned them all at once in an epic back yard bon fire with 20' flames. Had a young drug girl with a kid. He though when she left him she moved to my place (I was single at the time). Came pounding on my doors and windows around midnight one night "I KNOW SHE"S IN THERE!!!". He was also seen just standing in people's front yards with gas can and lighter in hand. He eventually flamed out and was gone, but I had not owned a fire arm until then. 2008-2010ish.

Negative ghost rider. Dad and Brother were Avid hunters, I grew up around pew pews, but never took to hunting.

I thought the bitch mitten was full of militia types. I think aside from The Big 3 automakers, that might be what y'all are famous for anyways.

What about the Yooper way of life? Or is the UP only part of Michigan in name?

Dude, I'm sad, if I was near it I'd probably grab it. That's too far to drive.

I'm chasing down a Waltrip grille right now on the cheap. Will see how that one pans out.

Not sure what you mean, but the upper peninsula is fully Michigan state land. Yoopers have weird language, and they are just tough because of the sparse population, they are more independent, hardened to the cold and 120-200" of snow and 6months of winter.
Maybe the yooper life is more time out in nature because that's all there is? Lifer MI resident and I'm not even sure what Yooper life means

All of MI kind of slows to a crawl opening day/week. And in some areas of the UP a snowmobile is almost a necessity like a car down here.
