    Hey guys, new member here!

I know there is a whole thread about 6112 instillation/pics but I figured I’d get some more traction here. Hopefully I’m not beating a dead horse….

recently installed 6112s on top clip and SPC UCAs on my 2016 tundra. Was an upgrade from a 2” spacer lift. However after installation my tires are rubbing the skid plate pretty bad and slightly rubbing sway bar on inside tire wall. I do have stock TRD wheels and I know they have a high positive offset. I’d love to keep my stock wheels on the truck but I had to install 1 1/4” spacers/adapters to get rid of the rubbing for now. Has anyone else had this issue??
-also a reputable shop did this work and aligned truck I just wish they would have told me I’d also be in it for a set of new wheels as well after install

    Remove FSB, trim splash guard.

The rubbing on FSB is only at full lock, and is minimal. I’m not sure if I’d want or even need to remove it. But I could trim skid plate. The whole purpose of the lift minus clearance and ride was to throw some bigger tires on there. I’m currently running 285/65 Toyo RTs. So if I go any wider and taller I’m worried about more rubbing on sway bar at that point

Hmmm I ran 285/70 on those same wheels and only needed to trim the skid. I did subsequently remove the FSB for improved ride/travel. I’m on skinny 35s now - same wheels.

1.9” with a 1/4” rubber spacer on top of the drivers side for lean.
