Ooof. Bummer. Yeah my buddy’s noise is different. He said he thinks it’s the variable cylinder management thing - whatever chevy’s version of that is. He’s still under warranty, so I think he’s just gonna get the stealer to fix it.

Finally got around to talking to them but couldn't talk them into making one again for the 1st gen. IIRC they do have a universal can cut to fit but it but doesn't have sides.

I guess my 03 oil psi gauge finally gave up the ghost at 349k miles.
Since I've had the truck it's done the typical hang around 1/4 mark, with slight fluctuations, depending on the throttle.
This morning it's just hanging out at L.

 

I replaced my sensor when I did the reseal and it still reads wonky. I think now I have a cluster issue

 

I'm not too worried about it. Just an observation. I've only got like 2/5k on my current oil. So I'll check it in a bit, for piece of mind. Should be good though, since I recently did the valve cover gaskets. It doesn't have any other leaks that I'm aware of ... Yet haha

 

Lol double 270* would be something. Overall the awning is probably my favorite & most used addition to the truck.

Edit: And that's not lemon grass. Not lemon verbena or lemon balm either. I'm not sure what it is. Looks almost like perennial geranium had sex with cilantro or something, I'm drawing a blank though.

 

Yep, oil is good. Clean and halfway between the marks. I guess the gauge just finally gave up.

 

My oil psi gauge hasn't read since/ before I bought the truck. I replaced the sensor, but no workie still, put a JY sensor in it, no workie. Who made the OEM ones? Imma try that next.
