What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Wow. Id be back in a Tundra after something like that as well. Think I may value mine even more now.

 

It dead stopped my truck from 55 mph. I do have some neck and back issues but nothing compared to getting over the mental side of it. medics on sight said that truck saved me.

 

Damn! That is crazy man! Glad you're okay. Is the other guy dead? That is scary damage.

The other guy made it. I prayed for him while they where cutting him out. it was his fault.

 

The Tundra did it's job.

 

I will post pictures of my new truck and all the mods so far when i get home from work. Its a work in progress..

Mine has an upgraded mattress in it and I am shocked at how comfortable it is. I can lay on my side without numb/sore arms or legs or anything. I believe the standard mattress leaves a lot to be desired but I never used that

Not today but just got some new wheels and tires put on a few days ago. Method 306 Mesh wrapped in Cooper Discoverer AT3, 275/70/18.

 

Truck is not a DD, so it hasn't been too bad...cooled seats help. Primary use is dedicated tow vehicle for the Lance.

Looks good, don't see many other BRM trucks

I bet those wheels would look descent on my truck with my flares. I have coating starting to peel on one of my wheels.

 

$20 Amazon LED lights do a decent job lighting up the bed. Gotta run wiring now

 

Man, That's the hardest part so far. I ended up using both a grinder and a reciprocating saw.

 

Looks like this will be a good install for you too! I posted some pics. about the cut. It is not easy when you are in the floor with a truck on jack stands but it is doable.

When I finish I will post all photos and details about the whole process including some oops too.

 

For anyone interested RCI is running a special right now if you order the transmission skid plate you get the cat guards for free (over $200 normally). Just picked up the skid and the cat guards myself. Can’t be too safe these days

 

are those vent mounts available? I’ve been looking and can’t seem to find them
