Same here, I needed repairs last week (one month after owning) and they said my warranty doesn't cover it. Who do we call to cancel?

 

To cancel, go back to whoever you purchased it from. For instance, if purchased at dealer during your initial purchase, contact the dealer finance manager and request cancellation. Read the fine print on your agreement, though. Depending upon how many months/miles on the vehicle, there may be a proration of the refund and if it was part of your financing, refund may be dispersed to the finance company Basically, know your terms before contacting dealer.

 

Would it be possible to share what they are not covering in your case and was it clearly stipulated in the extended warranty you purchased?

 

Looking at options for my '24 tundra. Where have you guys had success with either the 7yr/125 or 10yr plans?

Just got a 10yr/125k from Jerry.

 

My kid is at TTU He just got my 2013 Tundra as I got a new 2021. Good campus man, love it there.

 

Yep, he told me even if I hit a pothole and damaged my rim they would fix it; or EVEN if a rock flew up and chipped my windshield, they would fix it.

Well I took a trip and got a rock chip that flew up and cracked my grille; took it in and they told me they won't fix it because it needs a new grille. My warranty only covers repairs, but not replacements.

Also took it in for a terrible noise coming from my brake pads; turns out "toyota knows about the problem and is working on a fix," I didnt believe them and took it in anyway; as soon as they backed another tundra off of the service line, it made the same squeak. I just asked for my keys and left. I am getting to be pretty unhappy with my $86k piece of scrapmetal.

Called the dealership where I bought it from last week; and demanded they transfer me to the Finance Manager who screwed me on this. Spoke to him and he fed me a bunch of garbage "yes sir yes sir, I will send you the contact info to cancel your warranty right now".

So I hung up the phone and here I am with no contact info on who to speak to about cancelling my warranty.

I shot him an email today saying that he screwed me over and needs to give me his managers contact information. He responded with another "Give me a call and we can talk." But I'm not going to call him so he can butter me up to keep this warranty. I'm done.

Cancel that POS man and get the Toyota warranty 10 Year / 125K Miles from Jerry if you still under 3 years / 36K miles.

 

Also, the brake pads are only the beginning of my issues with this vehicle. I am at 2k miles and already have a christmas tree dashboard. I am the first owner of this 2024 TRD Pro. I was so careful for the first 1,000 miles (no towing, no constant rpm, no rpm above 4k). So this isn't my fault.

The only thing I can think of, is that when I got the vehicle— paperwork said it was supposed to be at 3 miles on the odometer; it was at 9 miles, when I checked the gas mileage it was getting NINE mpg!!!! WHICH MEANS THAT SOMEONE HAD A LITTLE JOYRIDE IN IT STRAIGHT OFF THE TRAILER.

Again, I could be mistaken; this is just me playing detective trying to figure out why this thing is falling apart.

 

Is just bad luck. Go with the flow and it will be OK. 9 miles on ODO is normal

 

Any other Toyota Dealership in your area? Maybe they would be more willing to help and get a new customer in the process.

 

FD-Warranty is where I got my 8 year/100k mile warranty and Troy had crazy good prices. When I spoke with him on the phone he said the dealer I bought mine from was offering them under what they actually sell for, but his prices were even cheaper. If you can’t reach Jerry than just request a quote from FD-Warranty and you will be happy you did

I've cancelled extended warranty and maintenance agreements when I sold vehicles for various reasons. The process started with a conversation with the dealer finance person that I purchased from. They sent me a form to fill out; I responded via email and within 2-6 weeks had a check. I always paid cash, no finance. I'm sure if you finance the extended warranty into your total purchase, it could be more complicated. But the terms all have cancellation and transfer clauses (at least those manufacturer warranties I've had). I never buy a third party or local dealer plan. One of the reasons for purchasing from a discount official manufacturer, such as Toyota official Toyota Financial Services plan which is good at any Toyota dealer.

 

I also just cancelled a 10/100 EW on my 2017 Taco - called the Toy Fin Services line and they said I would get $700 back. I paid for warranty with a CC from Jennifer at Wolverine a few years back. 1300 or so. No forms...check is in the mail - so they say.

 

That's even better. Honda made me fill out a form for my Acura MDX and Passport. Glad Toyota made it easier!

 

I also got the warranty from Jerry on Saturday when we closed the deal. $2075 I think it was for 10 year 125k on my Tundra. I am waiting for my refund from Wolverine from when Jennifer did it, just not sure what I am getting back or how much, but form is done and sent off to Toyota they said. That was $1799 back 4 years ago on my 2020 Highlander, but it was never used so I am not sure what I would get back.

 

I think sharing Jerry contact and pricing in public is not a good idea? It may get Jerry in trouble? Not exactly sure about the ramifications.

 

How do I get Jerry’s contact for the warranty?

Anyone know where to get Nissan warranty? Perhaps your contact dealer owns a Nissan dealer as well? We have an Nissan Nv3500 Passenger Van looking for extended warranty

 

Yesterday I bought a 2024 Tundra Limited. I was super hesitant to buy the extended warranty from my Toyota dealership - they eventually quoted me $2800. What's the difference between that Toyota backed warranty and the one that Jerry provides? Sorry, I've done zero research...
